To celebrate the 2021 Mothers day, the Centre for Public Accountability will host Inaugural Amai Annual Lecture to be delivered by a prominent daughter of Malawi.
The inaugural lecture will focus on the role women have played in Malawi freedom movements. You can suggest who will deliver the lecture by writing to director@openmalawi.org
Many Malawian Youth are doing amazing things in their communities, on social media and everywhere. The Centre for Public Accountability will host the first ever The Future Awards in the last quarter of 2021. This is a four event celebration of young Malawians that have worked hard to deliver in all spheres of society. The venue and awards format will be announced mid 2021
As part of our Internet and Society programmes, the Centre's will in third quarter of 2021 host the first ever Malawi Student Tech Fair in Blantyre. The fair will focus on digital and technology innovations that students are coming up with. The fair will start with a competition in six categories and any new innovators will be welcome to the fair.
